Young Sulaiman Hassan Sulaiman (Ayyman), at the age of 18, successfully completed the memorization of the holy Qur’an within one year at the Ali Institute of Al-Qur’an Memorization in Ibadan, Oyo State, following his SSCE certificate.
In celebration of this remarkable achievement, the family of Sarkin Dorin Kano organized a grand event in honor of young Ayyman at layin Ganduje, Sharada quarters in Kano municipality. The occasion brought together families, friends, and well-wishers from various parts of the state.
During the event, Deputy Imam of Sahaba Mosque Dr. Saifullahi Dahiru Usman extended his congratulations to Ayyman, emphasizing that such an accomplishment is a special blessing from Almighty Allah. He advised Ayyman to dedicate more time and effort to Qur’an studies and other educational pursuits in order to fully utilize his potential. Additionally, Sheikh Usman urged Ayyman and other young Qur’an memorizers to view their journey as an educational one and to avoid distractions that could hinder their progress.
Dr. Abubakar Tahir Kofarnaisa called upon the Muslim community to uphold the teachings and exemplary style of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and encouraged Ayyman to continue his pursuit of Islamic education. He stressed the importance of reading, understanding, and applying the teachings of the Qur’an in daily life, while also advocating for family unity.
Former Shari’ah Court judge Alkali Muhammad Gali Idris congratulated Ayyman, his parents, and the local community, offering words of encouragement for Ayyman to continue his education and praying for Allah’s guidance.
