I love a clever gadget nearly as much as I enjoy saving space in my carry-on. Native Union’s new Voyage charger hits both marks perfectly. It’s a compact, puck-shaped device that folds shut, making it easy to stash in a pocket or bag.

When opened, it reveals two Qi2 chargers: one side is designed for MagSafe iPhones, while the other features a familiar Apple Watch charging connector. The Voyage lays flat in this setup, allowing you to charge a phone alongside either an Apple Watch or a wireless charging-compatible AirPods case.

Depending on whether your Watch band opens flat or is a loop, the positioning can be a bit tricky. Fortunately, the watch connector flips up, so you can charge the smartwatch on its side.

If you need another charging option, the charger’s exterior snaps together magnetically, enabling you to charge both the phone and watch on their sides. This configuration is particularly useful, as it activates the iPhone’s Standby mode, effectively serving as a bedside alarm.

The Voyage does come with a premium price tag, as one might expect from a product with “Paris” etched on the front. Many might hesitate to spend $100 on an iPhone travel charger, even with the included woven USB-C cable and travel bag.
If it were up to me, I’d love to see a third charging option added, allowing me to replace the quirky MagGo Wireless Charging Station altogether. However, Anker’s product costs an extra $10 and is considerably bulkier.
