Barau offers condolences to the family of the late Senator Inuwa and others

On Sunday, Senator Barau I Jibrin, the Deputy President of the Senate, paid a heartfelt condolence visit to the family of the late Senator Aminu Inuwa. Senator Inuwa, who served as the representative for the Kano Central Senatorial District under the Social Democratic Party (SDP) during the 3rd Republic, sadly passed away on Friday.

During his visit, Senator Barau expressed his condolences and offered prayers for the deceased, describing Senator Inuwa as an esteemed elder statesman. He highlighted Inuwa’s dedication to serving both Allah and humanity throughout his life.

In addition to visiting Inuwa’s family, Senator Barau took the time to reach out to the families of four other political associates who had also experienced recent losses. This gesture demonstrated his commitment to supporting those in mourning during this difficult time.

One of the notable visits included a stop at the residence of his political adviser, Hon. Yusuf Aliyu Tumfafi, in Daurawa, Tarauni Local Government Area of Kano. Barau extended his condolences to Tumfafi over the passing of his brother, emphasizing the importance of solidarity in times of grief.

Senator Barau also paid respects to Hon. Balarabe Saidu Gani, the former Speaker of the Kano State House of Assembly, who was mourning the loss of his father, Alhaji Saidu Sale Gani. This visit underscored Barau’s recognition of the interconnectedness within the political community.

Continuing his rounds in Kano Municipal, Barau’s entourage moved to NNDC Quarters to console the family of Alhaji Zubairu Dambatta, a former executive of the Nigerian Port Authority (NPA), who recently passed away at the age of 75. His visit aimed to provide comfort to the grieving family.

Senator Barau then proceeded to Layin Tagwayen Gida in Dala Local Government Area, where he offered condolences to Comrade Alasan Uba Idris following the death of his elder sister. This visit further illustrated Barau’s commitment to supporting his peers in their times of sorrow.

Throughout these visits, prayers were offered for the souls of the departed. Barau’s heartfelt words resonated with those present, emphasizing the significance of remembering and honoring the lives of those who have passed.

In his prayers, Senator Barau implored Allah (SWT) to grant the deceased Aljannatul Firdausi, a place in paradise, and to provide their families with the strength needed to endure these profound losses. His compassionate approach highlighted the importance of community and empathy during times of mourning.

Through these visits, Senator Barau I Jibrin not only honored the memories of the deceased but also reinforced the bonds of solidarity and support among political associates and their families in Kano.
