Ebuka Songs has opened up about the reasons behind his departure from Moses Bliss’ record label.

Popular gospel singer Ebuka Songs has finally addressed the reasons behind his departure from Moses Bliss’ record label, Spotlite Nation. It was previously reported that Ebuka signed a three-year contract with the label but chose to leave after just 11 months. In December 2024, Moses Bliss commented during an interview that Ebuka had left the label to pursue his music career independently.

In his first public statement since leaving, Ebuka clarified that his decision was driven by a desire to concentrate on his ministry. In an interview with the “Open Up” podcast, he expressed gratitude for the role Moses Bliss played in his career, acknowledging that while he had the anointing and talent, he initially lacked the professional guidance to navigate the music industry effectively.

Ebuka stated, “I will always be grateful for Moses Bliss’ role in my life because at that time, I had the anointing and gift but didn’t know how to go about it professionally.” He reflected on his journey, emphasizing that he appreciates the experiences he gained while with the label, but felt it was time to shift his focus to his ministry.

He elaborated, “I am grateful for the journey that I have been through, but at this point now, the next level is to focus on my ministry. And we are in our good space.” Ebuka also explained why he had remained silent about his exit, stating, “The reason why I kept quiet about my exit or said anything since that time is because I don’t want it to generate more conversations. We all get to the point where we just want to be focused on the next phase of our lives, and because of the assignment of God upon my life.”

His comments highlight a common theme among artists who seek to align their careers with their spiritual missions. By prioritizing his ministry, Ebuka Songs aims to deepen his impact and connection with his audience, reinforcing the importance of faith in his artistic journey. This transition marks a significant step in his career, as he embarks on a path that aligns more closely with his personal and spiritual goals.
