The Chinese man identified as Mr Geng dated the lady he murdered who was identified as Ms Buhari for some time.
The incident occurred on Friday night at janbulo area of Kano metropolis.
Daily Nigerian reported that Mr Geng went to Ms Buhari’s house and knocked frantically at their door at around 8pm and later forced himself into the house around 9pm on Friday night.
The mother of the deceased while narrating the incident to security officials mentioned how Mr Geng pushed her away and entered her daughters room and stabbed her to death.
“When we got tired of his knocking, I went out to tell him to keep off our house, but he pushed me away and went straight into her room and killed her,” the mother lamented.
“We then began shouting and neighbours came to our rescue and apprehended him.
“She was immediately taken to hospital where she was later certified dead.”
At the time of writing this article, the expatriate is in the custody of security agents awaiting prosecution.
It was gathered that Ms Buhari has been dating Mr Geng prior to her marriage and supposedly dumped him for a Nigerian suitor.
The marriage recently ended when her husband discovered her chats with Mr Geng and suspected her to be having an affair with him.
Mr Geng tried to return to her after the divorce but she rejected him which possibly hunted his feelings and lead to him killing her in cold blood.
