Nollywood actress Yewande Adekoya has finally spoken out about her divorce. According to a report by DANDALI POST, she announced her separation from her husband, filmmaker Abiodun Ishola, in 2022, after eight years of marriage.
In an interview with her colleague, actor Kunle Afod, Yewande confirmed that she and her husband “only experienced a fallout.” When asked to address the rumors surrounding their divorce, she described the situation as a “trial experience.”
Yewande elaborated on her perspective, emphasizing that “there’s no marriage without its moments of trial.” She believes that the ability to rebuild and overcome challenges truly defines a marriage’s worth.
