The organizers of the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA) have revealed the nominations for the 2025 edition. These annual awards celebrate outstanding achievements among African filmmakers, actors, and content creators who have significantly impacted the industry over the past year.
This year’s nominations feature Nigerian actors Uzor Arukwe, Adedimeji Lateef, and Chioma Chukwuka. Adedimeji Lateef is nominated for Best Lead Actor for his role in Lisabi, while Uzor Arukwe is up for Best Supporting Actor for his performance in Suspicion. Actress Chioma Chukwuka has earned a nomination for Best Lead Actress for her work in Seven Doors.
