Apple has been switching from its Lightning charging ports to USB-C ports for most of its devices because of new EU rules. However, some of its accessories, like the Magic Mouse, Magic Keyboard, and Magic Trackpad, were still using Lightning. This week, Apple finally updated these accessories.
They have introduced USB-C versions of these devices alongside a new version of the iMac. The prices for the new accessories are the same as before: $199 for the Magic Keyboard with Touch ID and a number pad, $149 for the Magic Trackpad, and $99 for the Magic Mouse.

You can get these accessories in black and white, and some will match the new iMac colors. While the new iMac won’t be available until November 8, you can buy the accessories right now, and they will be shipped immediately.
Overall, the design of the accessories hasn’t changed much, except for the new USB-C port, which is still located on the bottom of the Magic Mouse—something that has been criticized before. This launch is just the beginning of a series of announcements from Apple, with rumors of a new Mac Mini also in the works.
