Bamboo Acquires U.S. Broker-Dealer License

Bamboo, a leading Nigerian fintech company, has achieved a major milestone by acquiring a U.S. broker-dealer license. This allows the platform to expand its range of investment services, giving Nigerians greater access to international markets. Bamboo’s CEO, Richmond Bassey, emphasized that this achievement reflects the company’s commitment to empowering Nigerians financially through technology.

This license enables Bamboo to directly execute trades on U.S. exchanges, reducing costs and improving transparency for users. Previously, Nigerian investors faced limitations when accessing foreign investment opportunities. With this development, Bamboo is set to revolutionize cross-border investments for individuals and institutions.

Bamboo plans to introduce new features, including fractional shares and real-time market data. These enhancements aim to make investing more accessible and engaging, especially for first-time investors. The company also offers educational resources to help users make informed investment decisions.
