Nigerian music star Bankole Wellington, known as Banky W, is celebrating his best friend and Toolz’s husband, Tunde Demuren.
On his Instagram page, he shared a video of himself with Tunde and his three children in a pool, reflecting on their journey together. He remarked that if only people understood where God has brought them from, their current situation, where He is leading them, and what He is shaping them into.
Banky W expressed his gratitude for their journey and for Tunde’s unwavering support through every high and low. He wished him a happy birthday, praying for more grace, favor, peace, and prosperity in his life.
He wrote: “If only they knew… where God brought us from, where we are now, where He’s taking us, and what He’s making of us. I’m so thankful for the journey and for my brother, who has stood by me through every mountain high and valley low.

In May, Toolz celebrated her 8th wedding anniversary with Tunde Demuren. Sharing photos from their wedding, she recalled how she overslept and almost missed her flight to Dubai for the ceremony. She mentioned that when she woke up, she called her husband, who calmed her down, allowing her to miraculously catch the flight. Toolz expressed her gratitude for his calming presence amidst her dramatic nature and prayed for more love, understanding, and joy in their marriage.
In other news, Banky W, who recently welcomed a second child with his actress wife, Adesua Etomi, shared a video of himself cooking and caring for his family. He emphasized that marriage is about giving 100% to both partners, not just 50-50. Since the birth of their child, he has taken on roles such as chef, housekeeper, homework teacher, and masseuse. Banky stated that these responsibilities are part of being a supportive husband and present father of two, and he couldn’t be happier. He encouraged men to step up and do their part in family life.
In September, Banky W announced that he and his family had relocated abroad as he returned to school for his Master’s in Policy Management at Georgetown University in Washington, DC. He shared that this new journey is for his family, faith, and purpose, and he requested prayers for their endeavor.
