Governor Abba said, ‘As part of Nigeria’s 64th Independence Anniversary Commemoration in Kano, I had the honor of sharing a special lunch with 95 remarkable children currently residing in the State Orphanage Home. These children are navigating life after the loss of their biological parents, and it was a privilege to spend time with them.
During this heartfelt gathering, I made an important announcement regarding my commitment to these children. I will take on the full responsibility for their well-being and future, ensuring that they receive the support they need to thrive.
My focus will be on their education, covering all aspects from primary school through to tertiary levels. Education is a vital foundation for their future, and I am dedicated to providing them with the opportunities they deserve.
In addition to education, I will ensure that they have access to comprehensive healthcare services. Good health is essential for their growth and development, and I want to make sure they receive the best possible care.

Feeding and nutrition are also critical components of their daily lives. I will oversee their meals to ensure that they receive proper nutrition, which is essential for their physical and mental well-being.
Moreover, I will address other social needs that may arise during my tenure. It is important to create a supportive environment where these children feel valued and cared for.
I believe that these special individuals should be treated as important personalities in our society. They deserve full benefits, care, and privileges that will empower them to reach their full potential.
Together, we can create a nurturing atmosphere that allows these children to flourish and achieve their dreams, transforming their lives for the better’.
