Fast Credit Launches Kids’ Swag Account

Fast Credit Limited has launched a new savings account called the KiddiesSwag account, which is specifically designed for children and young adults aged 0 to 18 years. This account is part of Fast Credit’s effort to encourage young people to start saving money from an early age.

In a statement released on Tuesday, the company explained that the KiddiesSwag account not only helps instill good saving habits, but it also offers a generous interest rate of 15% per year. This means that the money saved in the account will grow faster compared to traditional savings accounts.

To open a KiddiesSwag account, a minimum deposit of N50,000 (which is the local currency) is required. Additionally, there are more benefits included with this account. For instance, it covers the costs for certain government-approved exam fees. This means that if a child needs to take important exams—like the Common Entrance exam, West African Examinations Council exams, National Examinations Council exams, or Cambridge exams—the KiddiesSwag account can help pay for those fees.

Emeka Iloelunachi, the Managing Director and CEO of Fast Credit Limited, spoke about the KiddiesSwag account, saying that it reflects the company’s commitment to not just providing financial services but also promoting innovation and inclusivity. He emphasized that this account is not only about saving money, but it is also designed to support children in their education and future.

Iloelunachi also mentioned that Fast Credit has built a strong reputation for offering various financial solutions tailored to the needs of individuals and businesses. The KiddiesSwag account joins other products they offer, which includes different types of loans and investment solutions.

Furthermore, Fast Credit recently received positive investment-grade ratings from agencies like Agusto & Co. and DataPro. This recognition highlights the company’s strong financial health and successful range of products.

“Our aim is to offer flexible and rewarding financial solutions that meet the diverse needs of our customers. The KiddiesSwag account is a significant step in our mission to empower families and individuals across Nigeria,” Iloelunachi added.

In related news, Fast Credit Limited has made headlines by successfully completing a major issuance of its Commercial Paper (CP), which reflects its strong position in Nigeria’s financial market. This accomplishment reinforces their reputation as a dependable financial partner.
