Ganduje Blames Kwankwasiya for The 2027 Campaign Posters.
The National Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Abdullahi Ganduje, has distanced himself from a viral poster suggesting he harbors presidential ambitions for the upcoming 2027 election. The poster features Ganduje as the APC’s presidential candidate alongside Imo State Governor Hope Uzodimma as his running mate, with the tagline, “The Winning Team 2027. Vote APC 2027.”
In a statement released on Sunday by his spokesperson, Edwin Olofu, Ganduje labeled the poster as the work of the Kwankwassiyya movement, associated with former Kano governor Rabiu Kwankwaso. He characterized the poster as a malicious piece of fake news aimed at creating discord between himself and President Bola Tinubu.

Ganduje firmly denied any intention to run for president, emphasizing that the claims are entirely false and designed to mislead the public. He expressed concern that these rumors could foster disaffection between him and the current administration.
For clarity, Ganduje reaffirmed his unwavering loyalty to President Tinubu, stating his commitment to supporting the President’s vision and leadership. He believes that Tinubu is on the right path to lead Nigeria toward greater prosperity and unity.
