Gideon Okeke criticizes Jim Iyke for using a “fake American accent.”

Controversial Nollywood actor Gideon Okeke has unleashed a fierce attack on his fellow actor Jim Iyke, stirring up significant attention in the entertainment industry. Okeke, who gained fame as a reality star, took to social media to express his disdain for Iyke, accusing him of aspiring to be a standout figure—a “goldfish”—while lacking genuine character and substance.

In a series of pointed remarks, Okeke labeled Iyke as a “small boy,” implying that he considers Iyke to be immature and lacking the depth expected of a seasoned actor. He further criticized Iyke’s talent, suggesting that he is devoid of any real ability in acting and mocking his use of a fake American accent.

On his Instagram Stories, Okeke shared his thoughts candidly, stating, “I’ve met some really solid individuals, but I’ve also encountered some phony people like that Jim Iyke guy who wants to be a goldfish but has no sense of character.” He reiterated his feelings by emphasizing, “Small boy to me. Small boy.”

Okeke continued, expressing frustration over Iyke’s acting skills: “If only Jim Iyke could act! He would have been an actor. But sorry, he’s just a phony.” His comments reflect a broader critique of authenticity in the industry, with Okeke asserting that Iyke’s persona is not genuine. He concluded with a strong dismissal, stating, “Fake American accent. Fake everything. Small boy.”

As of now, the specific trigger for Okeke’s outburst remains unclear, leaving fans and followers speculating about the underlying issues that may have prompted such a public confrontation. The tension between the two actors has sparked discussions among their followers, highlighting the competitive nature of the Nollywood scene and the personal rivalries that can arise within it.
