“Governor Radda Enhances Relations with Niger Republic at Kwado’s Turbaning Ceremony”

Governor Dikko Umaru Radda of Katsina State recently made an important visit to Damagaram in the Niger Republic. He attended the wedding and turbaning ceremony of Alhaji Idi Kwado, a prominent businessman originally from Katsina, who has been honored with the title of Talban Damagaram.

Upon his arrival, Governor Radda received a warm welcome from Colonel Yousuf Labo, the Governor of Damagaram State. This reception included other key officials who highlighted the significance of the event and the relationship between the two regions.

During his visit, Governor Radda paid a courtesy call to Sultan Abubakar Oumarou Sanda. The Sultan praised Radda for his exemplary leadership in Katsina and expressed admiration for his achievements. He offered prayers for Radda’s continued success and guidance.

Colonel Yousuf Labo reciprocated the sentiments, commending Radda for prioritizing the visit. He expressed a desire to strengthen ties further by planning a future visit to Katsina State, emphasizing mutual respect and friendship.
