Governor Yusuf Starts 5-Kilometer Road Project in Ghari LGA.

Kano State Governor, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, has officially launched the construction of a 5-kilometer road project in Kunchi town, located in the Ghari Local Government Area. This initiative is part of his administration’s broader strategy to implement multiple 5-kilometer road projects throughout the state.

The road project was originally initiated during the second tenure of Senator Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso. However, it was left unfinished by the previous administration. Governor Yusuf’s revival of this project marks a significant step in addressing past neglect.

At the flag-off ceremony, Governor Yusuf took the opportunity to express his gratitude to the local community for their patience and steadfast support during the delays. He emphasized the importance of timely execution by instructing the contractor to mobilize to the site within one week, warning that failure to do so could result in contract termination.

In addition to the Kunchi road project, Governor Yusuf also commissioned a township road in Yandadi town. This reflects his commitment to enhancing infrastructure in various parts of the state, ensuring that rural areas receive the attention they deserve.

Furthermore, the governor inspected the Kano State College of Education and Preliminary Studies in Ghari. He reassured the public of his government’s dedication to improving academic infrastructure, which is essential for fostering quality education in the region.

This series of actions demonstrates Governor Yusuf’s proactive approach to rural development in Kano State. His administration aims to revitalize neglected projects and improve the overall quality of life for rural communities.

Through these initiatives, Governor Yusuf is not only addressing infrastructure deficits but also signaling a renewed commitment to the people of Kano State, ensuring that their needs are prioritized and met effectively.
