‘I May Need to Relocate to Lagos’ — American Rapper DDG Says Amid LA Wildfires

American rapper and YouTuber Darryl Dwayne Granberry Jr., widely known as DDG, has indicated that he may consider relocating to Lagos State. He shared this sentiment while expressing doubts about continuing to reside in the United States.

In a viral post on his X account, DDG hinted at the possibility of moving to either London or the Lagos region of Nigeria. His comments reflect a growing dissatisfaction with life in America, as he noted that the current situation in the U.S. has made it less appealing to him.

“America lowkey not it no more ngl. Might have to move to London or Lagos,” he stated, highlighting his feelings about the changing landscape of the country.

DDG’s remarks come in the wake of devastating wildfires in Los Angeles, which have resulted in multiple fatalities and extensive destruction. While he did not explicitly link his statement to the ongoing natural disasters, many speculated online that the wildfires might have influenced his thoughts about relocating.

The wildfires have raised concerns about safety and quality of life in California, prompting discussions among residents and public figures about the state of living in the area. DDG’s comments resonate with a broader sentiment shared by some individuals who are reevaluating their living situations in light of recent events.

As a prominent figure in the entertainment industry, DDG’s potential move could draw attention to the challenges faced by artists and influencers in areas affected by natural disasters and societal changes. His thoughts on relocation reflect a larger conversation about the search for stability and safety in today’s unpredictable environment.
