Controversial Nigerian artist Habeeb Okikiola, known as Portable, has dismissed comparisons between his facial tattoos and those of his fellow musician Asake.
Asake recently generated mixed reactions after unveiling his new facial tattoos, featuring dollar signs and the word “Believe,” in an Instagram post on Sunday. Some observers drew parallels between the ‘Terminator’ singer’s appearance and Portable’s due to their similar ink.
Portable was not pleased with these comparisons, asserting that he resembles American rapper Lil Wayne more than Asake. In a video shared on his social media, he stated, “Don’t compare me to Asake. I don’t look like Asake. I look like Lil Wayne. Stop comparing me to an overrated artist,” he expressed with frustration.
