The controversy began when their fellow actor, Rotimi Salami, shared a video on Instagram featuring Yemi and Apa in a romantic scene from the film “5 Alive.” In this scene, the two actors depicted lovers, with Yemi showing affection towards Apa through gestures like kissing him on the cheek and holding him close. While the scene aimed to showcase the actors’ chemistry and dynamic interaction, it instead ignited a considerable uproar on social media.
