Famous American actor and musician Jamie Foxx has shared details about his struggle with a brain bleed that resulted in a stroke. He revealed this information while discussing the reasons for his hospital stay in 2023. In a recent Netflix special, the 56-year-old actor mentioned that he experienced a severe headache and “blacked out for 20 days.” He was admitted to Piedmont Hospital, where he was diagnosed with a brain bleed that ultimately led to the stroke.
Jamie Foxx on His Health Crisis
“It remains a mystery. We still don’t fully understand what happened to me. On April 11, 2023, I had a severe headache and asked my friend for an aspirin. However, I quickly realized that friends often don’t know how to handle a medical emergency. Before I could take the aspirin, I lost consciousness and have no memory of the next 20 days.”
Foxx recounted that when he finally woke up from the coma, he found himself in a wheelchair and unable to walk.
