Jigawa State: A Blessing and Honor – Dr Sabo Wada Dutse

Jigawa State: A Blessing and Honor – Dr Sabo Wada Dutse

The establishment of Jigawa State from the former Kano State has been recognized as both a blessing and an honor, particularly due to the numerous developments that have emerged across all Senatorial Districts. This perspective was shared by Dr. Sabo Wada Dutse, a dedicated indigene of the State, in a goodwill message addressed to the Executive Governor, Dr. Namadi Danmodi.

Dr. Dutse emphasized that Jigawa State has achieved remarkable progress in both socioeconomic and political spheres. He attributed this advancement to the State’s strategic location and its wealth of resources, including human, natural, and mineral assets, which are crucial indicators of development.

Additionally, Dr. Dutse pointed out that since the State’s formation, development projects have been distributed fairly among the Emirates and Local Councils. This equitable distribution has made Jigawa an appealing destination for potential investors.

Known as the “New World,” Jigawa’s motto symbolizes the dawn of a new era for its people. Dr. Dutse also commended the Jigawa State Council of Chiefs for its vital role in fostering a strong sense of coexistence among the populace. The council serves as a custodian of the region’s cultural values and traditions, which are a source of pride for all Jigawians.

He also praised Dr. Namadi Danmodi for his insightful and visionary leadership, which has propelled the State toward greater heights. Dr. Dutse encouraged all residents of Jigawa State to act as good ambassadors wherever they may be, urging them to lead by example in matters of human development and humanitarian efforts.

In his message, he reminded the people of Jigawa State of their renowned resilience and dedication to prosperity. Recently, the State celebrated its thirty-third anniversary with vibrant ceremonies held across various locations, highlighting the unity and spirit of its citizens.

Through these celebrations and ongoing efforts, Jigawa State continues to showcase its potential and commitment to progress, reinforcing the pride and aspirations of its people.
