Kano High Court Sets For Annual Vacation, Announces Judges to Handle Cases

The Chief Judge of Kano State, Justice Dije Abdu Aboki, has issued a directive for the High Court to observe its annual vacation from July 29th, 2024, until September 23rd, 2024.

This announcement was made by Mr. Baba Jibo Ibrahim, the spokesperson for the Kano State Judiciary, in a statement. He explained that the directive is in accordance with Order 45 (4) (b) of the High Court Rules of Kano State 2014.

Furthermore, it was mentioned that during this vacation period, Justice Dije Abdu Aboki, Justice Ibrahim Musa Karaye, Justice Aisha Ya’u, and Justice Abdu Maiwada Abubakar will serve as vacation Judges 1, 2, 3, and 4, respectively. They are authorized to handle urgent matters as long as they adhere to the Rules of the High Court.

The spokesperson also urged all State Counsel, Private Practitioners, and Litigants to take note of this information.
