The Kano State Government is promising to keep investors in the mining industry safe and protected to encourage more partnerships and improve the local economy.
Alhaji Safiyanu Hamza Kachako, the Commissioner for Solid Minerals and Natural Resources, shared this promise when he met with Mr. Alex Zhang, the Managing Director of Zarthwish Company, a mining business.

Kachako said that the government is dedicated to creating a safe environment for investors, building positive working relationships, and creating job opportunities. He also mentioned goals like increasing local revenue, developing communities, and protecting the environment.
Mr. Zhang thanked Kachako for the welcome and acknowledged that there are many valuable minerals in Kano, as shown by tests on samples. He committed to considering the partnership and looking for ways to work together.
This initiative is expected to boost investor confidence and support growth in Kano’s mining industry.
