The renowned Afropop artist has responded to the ongoing feud between Davido and Wizkid during a recent interaction on social media with an overly enthusiastic fan.
Daniel Anidugbe, popularly known as Kizz Daniel, was recently prompted by a user on X to express his thoughts on his fellow artist, Wizkid.
This discussion began when he interacted playfully with fans on his X (formerly Twitter) account and is thought to stem from Kizz Daniel’s recent collaborations with Davido and his perceived closeness to the Afrobeats star.
The conversation began when Kizz Daniel shared his admiration for indigenous hip hop artist Phyno in a standalone post. A user responded cynically, fueling rumors about his sexuality. To counter these assumptions, the ‘Twe Twe’ artist quickly fired back. Another user then challenged him to “diss” Wizkid.
Choosing to remain neutral, Kizz Daniel opted to respect both artists, commending their legacies and contributions to the industry. He remarked, “I bet 30BG will love this. Na machala and baddest workings most of us dey enjoy now, it will be unwise my brother. Respect the ones before you.”
In a subsequent post, the multi-award-winning artist praised Olamide, Don Jazzy, and Phyno, referring to them as the “godfathers” of the new generation. He stated, “That’s the Godfather of the New industry along with Don Jazzy and Phyno… story for another day.”
Kizz Daniel is currently enjoying the success of his newly released single featuring Adekunle Gold, titled ‘Pano Tona,’ which follows the success of ‘Marhaba.’
