KNSG approves 26 & 27 July 2024 as 3rd Term Vacation

The Kano State Government has given approval for the commencement of the 3rd term vacation for all Day and Boarding Public/Private Primary and Post Primary Schools in the state. The vacation will begin on Friday 26th and Saturday 27th July 2024. Parents/Guardians of Boarding school students are required to bring their children home by the early hours of Saturday 27th July 2024. According to a statement from the Director of Public Enlightenment of the State Ministry of Education, Balarabe Abdullahi Kiru, Boarding School students are expected to return to their respective schools on Sunday 8th September 2024, while Day Students are to resume on Monday 9th September 2024.

The Commissioner of the ministry, Alhaji Umar Haruna Doguwa, emphasized the importance of Parents/Guardians ensuring that their children comply with the approved resumption dates. He expressed gratitude for the cooperation and support given to the ministry and wished the Students and Pupils a successful and trouble-free holiday. Commissioner Doguwa also warned that appropriate disciplinary action would be taken against students who do not comply with the resumption dates.
