“KNUPDA Establishes Committee to Receive Complaints on Land, Houses, and Farms”

The Kano State Urban Planning and Development Authority (KNUPDA) has inaugurated a five-member committee to address complaints related to land ownership, housing, and market stalls across the state.

The Chairman of the Authority, Architect Ibrahim Yakubu Adamu, made the announcement during the inauguration of the committee, which is chaired by Director of Administration, Alhaji Aminu Umar.
The Chairman noted that they have observed that some officials of the authority have been misusing their power and engaging in unscrupulous activities in the name of the authority.

The committee will receive complaints from the public on Mondays to Fridays, and anyone found guilty will face the consequences according to the law.

In his response, the chairman of the committee, Alhaji Aminu Umar, promised to work diligently to address the challenges facing the authority.

The committee members are Aminu Umar (Chairman), Mujtaba Inuwa, Kabiru Musa Dagumawa, Sani Salisu Kabara, and Abubakar Bala (Secretary), and they will submit a report to the authority after six weeks.
