Kwankwaso Claims The PDP is Dead.
Rabiu Kwankwaso, the 2023 presidential candidate for the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), recently proclaimed that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is effectively defunct in the country. During the inauguration of a renovated party office in Katsina State, he emphasized that his departure from the PDP was a clear indication of its decline, stating, “PDP is dead because we left the party.” His comments reflect a deep dissatisfaction with the PDP’s current state.
Kwankwaso expressed his intent to win the upcoming 2027 presidential election, confidently asserting that the NNPP is poised to take over not only the presidency but also several states across the nation.
