Kwankwaso – Nigerians are Frustrated and Plan to Change the Government in 2027

Kwankwaso

Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso, the Presidential Candidate for the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP), has expressed his belief that the current state of affairs in Nigeria will lead citizens to demand significant change by 2027. He emphasized that the struggles faced by Nigerians, particularly those in the northern regions, have reached a breaking point.

While addressing a large group of All Progressives Congress (APC) members who recently defected to the NNPP, Kwankwaso highlighted the importance of this moment. He welcomed these new members from Dala, Kiru, and Gwale local government areas at his residence on Miller Road in Kano.

Kwankwaso stated, “Nigerians, more specifically northerners, have suffered enough, and no amount of pressure or intimidation will change their minds.” His words reflect a deep frustration with the current political climate and the challenges faced by ordinary citizens.

He urged Nigerians to reconsider the effectiveness of the current administration, asserting that it has become evident that the APC-led government is not serving the interests of the poor. According to Kwankwaso, the government’s actions have only exacerbated the struggles of the masses.

The senator pointed out that despite any attempts by the APC to manipulate the upcoming elections through security forces and INEC, the resolve of the Nigerian people remains strong. He believes that citizens are weary and ready to fight for the change they desire.

Describing the event as historic, Kwankwaso noted the significant number of individuals joining the NNPP from various wards in the affected local governments. This influx indicates a collapse of the APC’s structure in those areas, suggesting a shift in political allegiance.

Kwankwaso criticized the APC for failing to fulfill its promise of alleviating the hardships faced by the poor. He argued that instead of providing solutions, the party has contributed to rising insecurity and poverty, which have deeply affected the fabric of Nigerian society.

In conclusion, he reiterated that “Nigerians are tired,” signaling a collective yearning for a new direction in leadership and governance. Kwankwaso’s message resonates with many who feel disillusioned by the current political landscape and are eager for a change in the upcoming elections.
