Joseph Aloba, the father of the late singer Mohbad, has expressed his doubts regarding the paternity of his grandson, Liam. According to DAILY POST, Mohbad passed away on September 12, 2023, and was buried the following day. His body was exhumed on September 21 for an autopsy conducted by the Lagos State Police Command.
In light of the controversies surrounding his sudden death, Joseph Aloba, who has been vocal about seeking justice, has called for an investigation into Mohbad’s wife, Omowunmi, and a DNA test to establish Liam’s biological connection to him.
During a recent interview on Silverbird Television, Aloba stated that Liam does not resemble his late son, which he believes justifies the need for a paternity test. When asked if Liam looked like Mohbad, Aloba replied, “No, from what I see, he’s not my grandson. As a father, they should have brought the child to me.”
He added, “When I requested a DNA test, they should have said, ‘Daddy, go and do it at your convenience.’ It has become public now; let the court address that. I will only accept Liam as my grandson if the DNA test confirms it.”
