Nigerian dancer Lil Smart has lodged a petition against Naira Marley, the head of Marlian Records, and singer Zinoleesky, alleging a threat to his life, on December 9, 2024, Lil Smart raised concerns on social media, stating that he felt his life was in danger. He urged the public to hold Naira Marley and Zinoleesky responsible if anything happened to him, sharing alarming videos and photos that purportedly showed Zinoleesky and others pursuing him. In response, Zinoleesky refuted the claims, accusing Lil Smart of seeking attention.
In a viral post on his Instagram, Lil Smart announced that he has officially submitted his petition to the authorities and is seeking justice through the legal system. He mentioned that he had previously faced bullying from Naira Marley and Zinoleesky but did not have enough evidence to pursue legal action.
“This isn’t the first or third time I’ve experienced this bullying. However, I didn’t have sufficient evidence to take legal steps. Now, I’m grateful to have strong evidence, and I will do everything in my power to put an end to this bullying and threat to my life.
“With my evidence, I sincerely hope they aren’t too powerful to be held accountable. I have submitted my petition and evidence to the authorities. By God’s grace, the law that governs us as citizens of Nigeria will ensure I receive the justice I deserve.”
As of now, Naira Marley has not yet responded to the allegations.
