This comment comes in response to the widespread reactions following 2Baba’s recent announcement of his impending divorce from his wife, Annie.
On his X account, Nasboi expressed, “I’ll keep my marriage under wraps when the time comes. No sharing online, please! I don’t want random people voicing their opinions about my life.”
Additionally, he urged Nigerians to refrain from using celebrity marriages as a benchmark for their own relationships. He wrote, “Just because one celebrity gets divorced doesn’t mean marriage isn’t for you. Remember your parents, who have been happily married for over 30 years. Stop using celebrity marriages to define what marriage is. If you choose not to marry, that’s your choice.”
