In a major boost to its tech credentials, Nigeria has been selected to host Africa’s largest tech expo, TechAfrica 2025. The event, scheduled for November, will bring together tech enthusiasts, investors, and policymakers from across the continent.
TechAfrica 2025 aims to showcase innovative solutions addressing African challenges in sectors like agriculture, healthcare, and energy. The expo will feature product launches, panel discussions, and networking opportunities, providing a platform for startups to connect with potential investors.

One of the key highlights will be the “Future Africa” pavilion, which will display cutting-edge technologies, including drones for precision farming and AI-driven diagnostic tools for healthcare. Nigerian startups like LifeBank and Thrive Agric are expected to take center stage.
The government has pledged full support for the event, highlighting its potential to attract foreign investment and boost Nigeria’s global tech reputation. Minister of Science and Technology Chief Uche Nnaji described TechAfrica as a “game-changer” for the continent.
With over 50,000 attendees expected, TechAfrica 2025 promises to be a landmark event for Nigeria and the African tech ecosystem.
