Optiva Capital And Others Plan 20-Day Christmas Festival

Optiva Capital Partners, a wealth management company based in Africa, has teamed up with MBR Signature and Bi-Courtney Aviation Services to organize a special Christmas festival at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport 2. This festival will run for 20 days, starting on December 1, and is designed to spread holiday cheer to travelers and visitors at the airport.

The goal of the festival is to create a joyful and festive environment that celebrates the Christmas season and engages the local community. This event is notable because it is the first of its kind in Nigeria, aiming to bring people together and enhance the overall travel experience during the holidays.

In a joint statement, the three organizations highlighted the importance of collaboration, which aligns with one of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals focused on partnerships. They emphasized that this initiative reflects Optiva Capital Partners’ dedication to giving back to society by fostering community connections and promoting economic growth.

Dr. Jane Kimemia, the CEO of Optiva Capital Partners, shared her excitement about the festival, stating that it embodies the company’s values of connection, joy, and improving lives. She expressed pride in being an African business with a global perspective and emphasized the festival as a way to celebrate Nigeria’s rich cultural heritage while showcasing the country’s potential to the world.

The festival will feature a variety of fun activities, including beautiful Christmas carols, live music and comedy performances, and a special Santa Claus Grotto where children and families can enjoy festive treats. These carefully planned experiences aim to bring people together, spread happiness, and create lasting memories throughout the holiday season.

Dr. Kimemia also pointed out that for families who usually travel abroad to enjoy Christmas festivities, this event brings that magical experience right to Nigeria. She envisions the airport as more than just a place for travel; it should be a venue for celebration, reflection, and connection.

Stanley Ezeani, the Managing Director of MBR Signature, spoke about the festival’s goal to revive the magic and wonder of Christmas, which has diminished over the years due to various modern challenges. He hopes the festival will help rekindle the spirit of the holiday season, allowing families to create new memories while cherishing traditional celebrations.

Kola Bamigboye, the acting Chief Operating Officer of Bi-Courtney Aviation Services, expressed his happiness about the collaboration with Optiva Capital Partners and MBR Signature. He emphasized that this partnership between three different organizations is focused on a shared mission: to spread joy and revive the festive spirit during the holiday season. Together, they aim to create a memorable celebration that truly captures the essence of Christmas and brings happiness to the community.
