Singer Tuface’s new partner, Natasha Osawaru, has clarified why he has been wearing her traditional beads. In an interview with Stella Korkus, Natasha addressed accusations that she uses the beads for a spiritual hold over the singer, firmly denying the allegations.
Natasha explained that the beads carry cultural and sentimental significance, emphasizing that Tuface chose to wear them willingly, rather than being forced. “Those beads were my birthday gifts. They represent a princess from a royal family. You know I’m from the Igbinedion Royal Family,” she stated.
She elaborated, “My mum gave me three beautiful beads on my last birthday. They are called ‘EZENEKA,’ which means ‘River that never runs dry.’ The one around his neck was given to me by my grandfather, who was a knight to the Queen of England. She presented it to him during her lifetime.”
Natasha further clarified, “So they are just traditional beads, and he wore them because he likes them. They are not diabolical and do not contain juju. I didn’t put them on him; he chose to wear them. If you notice, he has always liked beads and has worn several before now.”
This statement comes in response to claims made by Tuface’s mother, Rose Idibia, who accused Natasha of using the traditional neck and wrist beads to spiritually bind her son, suggesting that Tuface is under Natasha’s spell.
