Selena Gomez responds to demands for her deportation from the United States.

Selena Gomez, the popular US singer and actress, has responded to calls for her deportation after expressing her distress over Trump’s ICE raids. According to DAILY POST, the United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) conducted nationwide raids on Sunday, resulting in the apprehension of over 1,100 undocumented immigrants.

In a now-deleted Instagram video, Gomez expressed her sympathy for those affected. While in tears over the deportation of Mexicans, the 32-year-old, who has Mexican heritage, stated, “I’m so sorry. All my people are being attacked. The children, I don’t understand. I wish I could do something. I will try everything, I promise.”

In response, former US Senate candidate Sam Parker called for her deportation, saying, “Deport Selena Gomez. She chose illegals over America because she’s a third-generation descendant of Mexican undocumented immigrants who received citizenship during the ’87 Amnesty. She has an entitlement attitude toward America, similar to her undocumented parents. Maybe Selena should be deported, too?”

Reacting to this call for her deportation, the Grammy-winning singer posted on her Instagram story, “Oh Mr. Parker, Mr. Parker. Thanks for the laugh and the threat.”

Additionally, Nollywood actor Zubby Michael remarked that singer Davido is “not a human being” while discussing the artist.
