This call was made during a summit organized by Vertiline Synergy Limited in Lagos. During the summit, Sally Okpo, the Founder of Suffy Travels Limited, delivered a keynote address outlining the various obstacles the tourism sector faces. Among these challenges are inadequate infrastructure, economic difficulties, and restrictive visa policies. Okpo emphasized that these issues hinder the industry’s growth and potential, calling for urgent attention and action.
Okpo also pointed out the negative perception that many Nigerians hold about their own country, which further impacts tourism.
