The most heartbreaking moment of my life was the loss of my first child, said Nollywood actor Dele Odule.

Veteran Nollywood actor Dele Odule recently opened up about the most heartbreaking moment of his life, which was the loss of his first child. During an emotional interview with his colleague, Kunle Afod, Odule shared insights into the profound impact this tragedy had on him.

Reflecting on the experience, the renowned Yoruba actor elaborated on the difficult circumstances surrounding his child’s birth, which made the news of the loss even more devastating. He described how the combination of hope and despair during that time left an indelible mark on his heart.

At 63 years old, Odule expressed that he has come to terms with the incident, viewing it as part of God’s will. He emphasized the importance of faith in navigating such profound grief, stating, “No one can question God’s authority.” Despite the pain, he has found solace in prayer, hoping to never encounter such a tragedy again in his life.

“The saddest moment of my life was when I was called that my first child died. It was very hard on me,” he recounted, his voice heavy with emotion. He elaborated, “It was hard because of the situation faced during the child’s birth, but no one can question God’s authority. It was so bad that I don’t pray for it anymore.”

Odule’s candid sharing serves as a reminder of the deep emotional struggles many face in the face of loss, and his journey of acceptance highlights the resilience of the human spirit in overcoming life’s deepest sorrows.
