Sufficient Security
The Zamfara State Police Command has confirmed that they have implemented sufficient security measures to guarantee a peaceful and violence-free protest in the state. Commissioner of Police Muhammad Dalijan made this declaration while urging his officers to carry out their duties with professionalism and respect for the constitutional rights of citizens.
During a recent address to his officers, Dalijan highlighted the importance of maintaining professionalism and being aware of citizens’ rights to peaceful assembly and protest. He stressed that any acts of violence, looting, or destruction of both private and public property would not be tolerated under any circumstances.
To ensure public safety, the police have deployed security personnel in key locations, including motor parks, markets, and critical infrastructure. Dalijan reassured citizens that they could go about their daily activities without fear, as the police and other security agencies are on high alert to safeguard lives and property.
Additionally, citizens are encouraged to report any suspicious activities or gatherings that could disrupt the peace to the nearest authorities for immediate action. Dalijan emphasized the importance of community cooperation in maintaining safety and security during this time.
