Wizkid has become the highest-earning artist from Africa on Spotify.

Nigerian artist Ayodeji Balogun, widely known as Wizkid, has been named Africa’s top earner on Spotify. The music analytics platform Chart Masters recently disclosed the monthly earnings of artists worldwide on Spotify, revealing that Wizkid earned $1 million, making him the highest earner from Africa.

The list of the top ten earners in Africa is largely comprised of Nigerian artists, with the exception of South Africa’s Tyla.
