Media personality Toke Makinwa has criticized 2Face Idibia amid the ongoing turmoil regarding his marriage to Annie Idibia. Toke expressed her frustration on Instagram, reacting to a video shared by 2Face in which he acknowledged posting the controversial divorce announcement. She commented, “This is wrong on all levels, and you should be ashamed for bringing this here.”
She added, “Bring it on. If you think she’s alone, let me tell you that you’ll have to contend with all of us.”
Not stopping there, Toke addressed the situation further in her Instagram story, targeting those who have chosen to remain neutral. “I’m not one for excessive talk, but what’s wrong is wrong. As a woman, if you sit on the fence about this, it may not affect you directly, but it could impact your daughter or any female family member.”
She continued, “No one is innocent, and if you choose to involve the media while knowing what’s happening, we will fight for her,” Toke stated.
This response follows 2Face’s admission that he was responsible for the controversial divorce post, contradicting his earlier claim that his account had been hacked. Toke herself has been divorced since 2015, when her marriage to Maje Ayida ended after he impregnated his ex-girlfriend. The marriage was dissolved by a Lagos High Court due to Ayida’s adultery.
